Description of treatment

Laser skin pigmentation removal is a treatment which effectively and non-invasively removes skin pigmentation and discoloration, evening out skin color and improving its look. The skin becomes rejuvenated, uniform in color, more firm, it looks healthy and young.

During the procedure the energy produced by the laser is absorbed by a pigment, melanin, which receives the energy in the form of heat and is broken into smaller elements. A pigment disintegrated in such a way is removed by the body on its own. The action is selective, as the surrounding melanin-free tissues remain undamaged.

No special preparation is necessary for the laser skin pigmentation removal treatment and any part of the body can undergo the treatment, with the most frequent ones being face, neck, shoulders, cleavage and hands. The treatment can be applied at any age, even in young people.

The patient can return to their regular physical activity as soon as the next day after the procedure.

The number of procedures required to achieve the best effect depends on skin condition, skin type (phototype), the nature of pigmentation, the depth at which the pigment is acumulated, as well as the patient's individual reaction to the laser (the role of immune system).
